Black Ops II Offline Multiplayer [UPDATED LINK]
Here is a Black Ops II SP + MP + ZM Package for offline play. Download link is available at the bottom for those who want it.

Once installed, just click one of the launchers to play. The launcher executables were built in x86 so they should work on 32-bit operating system as well.

Hi yah bro Mac! Much tnx for this well organized package. Seems you're gettine some flames over at cs.rin well glad you're handling them really maturely enough hehe. But glad they finally made a freakin offline launcher after all the pleading but wish they could add ranking up on offline mode so lets plead that out to coz the matchmaking kinda sucks bigtime on my slow internet.
ReplyDeletehey alencore thanks i'm glad you like it. yea those redacted guys don't like me... they like to humiliate anyone that they don't like (they treat other people this way too). and the funny thing is that i agree with their main philosophy. but they have lost sight of what really matters, playing the dam game. they riddled their client with watermarks because they require this grandstanding and then batter anyone that tries to return the game to its original state (even though credit is still given). they did a good job with redacted (even if they suck with ETAs :P ). at the end of the day its just a crack for a game, and i'm not going to bow down to them just because they did something good. they are just gamers like the rest of us so they need to get down from their pedestal.
Deleteanyway yea i totally agree there should be some kind of offline ranking up. i remember hearing one of them talking about that it wouldn't be too hard to implement some kind of LAN matchmaking. this would be perfect because natively with the legit version of BO2 there is a combat training matchmaking mode, where you would join matches that fill with real players and bots and you can rank up.

Hey there! Animamundi 69 stopping by. Damn! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the BO 2 offline multiplayer! I do own BO2 on Steam though and I assume that this only works with Skidrow version right?
Deletehey animamundi, yea this is really cool and i haven't encountered any problems, works perfectly.
Deleteyou can play this with any version of the game (i think). i include all of the MP patch files in the package so it should work with any release. the client supports up to DLC 3, not DLC 4 though. the client checks if you have any DLC installed so don't worry if you don't have any, it will adjust to what you have.
@Mac, yeah those watermarks are absolute annoyance simply shows how much pride they put to their work but then again it's just a crack, yeah not easy to do but it's still a crack no matter what they call it. Seems their a bunch of kids to reason why the act that way hehe but glad we finally have something to use since I'm planning to hit the mountains with my cx bike and play bo2 at night.

yeah but I shifted to the cyclocross bike since I mix my rides with road and dirt and so tired of using the flat bars reason why I shifted. I use my beat-up mtb during the rainy season.

DeleteOh no bro I'm not that rich LoL! I just bought this 2nd hand Giant TCX 3 still in good condition less than half the price, tnc god hehe. This cx bikes are so darn expensive and the cheaper ones sucks too much. my mtb is set-up in hybrid way to well at least the wheels are with modded plastic full coverage fenders so I can blast through the rain and come home wet but no mud and dirt in me hehe. I used to be very fit but tnx to pc games made me fat again LoL!

Deletelol i don't know man, we all have those kind of days sometimes. the link appears to work fine for me and everybody else.
DeleteIt was my anti virus causing the issue (Avast! Free 2014). It would stop an attempted download, corrupting the file. Then Mediafire would not let me download again for awhile. When I was extracting the files, Avast would detect those it thinks contains viruses and would put them in the virus chest. I disable it for a few seconds, extracted the files, and put them into the BO2 folder. Then I made it so Avast! would not scan my BO2 folder. By the way, the mod does work with the Steam version. Though I am confused as to why singleplayer needs a mod to play offline. According to one of the fixes for an issue on PCGamingWiki (its the place I go to first to fix issues with my games) for singleplayer, it is to play in offline mode.

good to hear you got it working. anti-virus can be a real pain, thats why i dual boot, one operating system clean for work, the other boot is my dirty gaming partition. works better than having an annoying anti-virus that often doesn't stop threats and blames files that are not threats.
Deleteanyway the singleplayer "mod" is so that the game can be played without steam. this makes the game completely independent and free of DRM. there is no such thing as true offline with steam since they require you to connect to servers once a month. i rather not be chained to such restrictions and a lot of people agree.
Are you sure that is still the case? From what i've heard from other users and from my own personal experience, that was patched out a LONG time ago.
ReplyDeleteOr maybe i heard about something about Offline mode. I read further into the issue. Steam only needs to go online once for authentication. After that, you stay offline as long as you wish, though it isn't without problems.

they say that but its bugged, it actually doesn't work (i know from first hand experience.) Valve doesn't bother fixing things that most people don't care about. the fact is, most people don't care about offline. not because people don't like offline, but because people fail to see the importance of the offline option.
Deletebesides, you really want to trust your entire games collection to one client that is DRM?, which has the ability to pull all of your games away from you? its crazy that people are willing to accept having no control over the products they buy just for the sake of convenience.
I use to have issues with going into offline mode, but, I haven't had those recently.

And I never said I trusted Steam. In fact, they should be sued for how big of a monopoly they have. I just like to make sure the facts are straight before proceeding in a discussion.

i tried the nosteam version and it worked fine for me... people have also said that the latest steam version works fine. you might have some outdated files causing the crash...

I think we need to spam redacted forum on adding an offline ranking leveling up feature coz the matchmaking ain't really good especially if you have a slow internet. The LAN thing etc.

It's kinda hard aiming . i tried re-settings by default but i think it's my mouse .

Deletei was about to suggest you(mac) to let go mw3 and concentrate on bo 2 since the bots ai and files are already built in and their behaviour is fine tuned using tools that you cant have unless you crack 4ctivisi0n servers and steal them. at best they will behave like mw2 but never like bo, bo2 and ghost. you said it yourself, since you don’t have low level access to the game engine, its impossible to made them like real players.

the one used in the v1 package is from 0.8 beta, the one from the v2 package is a release candidate of 0.8 (i updated this post to include v2 package download link) ... the differences don't matter for offline play.

hey macporterjoe, i had a question on black ops....i posted it in the black ops archive but no one replied, so i am posting it here...i cant get the dlc maps to run in black ops combat training v04..they are not available.. is it normal or are the dlcs supposed to work and not working for me>..
Deletesorry DLC content is not supported for Black Ops 1. the client used is bugged on some of the DLC maps which is why i can't support it for BO1...
Delete@Aniket Mittal ...ctv4 + bo1 dlc works using the no-steam nemexis client. I posted a mini tutorial how to run dlc using ctv4 and some config sample so check that out on the ctv4 blog and here's the full nemexis client, I presume you have a fast internet if not well, your choice...

Delete@macporterjoe i just screwed up my game...used the command console, typed map mp_zoo and there i was with 9 enemy bots and 8 friend bots...but i cudnt see anybody....also my game stopped working and cant get it to work anymore....its not even starting...just says not responding...shouldnt have screwed around with dlc maps....

DeleteUhm , with this patch can you use titles and emblems? i remembered the offline patch for black ops 1 you can use titles and edit your emblem , but once you save it , it doesn't save . that problem was fixed?
ReplyDeletethis uses the custom games portion of the game, which means no leveling, and no titles and emblems. you can save your classes and thats it. you are also restricted to 6 vs 6 match. (no 9 vs 9 like in BO1)

DeleteAnimamundi69 here. I just played a few games of BO2 steam version with the offline client and it works very well. It's amazing how smoothly BO2 runs compared to Ghosts …it certainly puts it to shame. Well this is definitely the last Call of duty I buy…I've learned my lesson now! BTW has anyone played Titanfall? I know its an online only game but I heard that the developers are working on private matches ….The game already has bots so that should be fun i guess!

But, if you don't want to, then I will respect that. Its just that you RSE mod for MW2 and the original PeZBOTS for CoD4 and W@W inspired me to do this.

DeleteHey everyone, it's Animamundi69.I'm stopping by with a link to a cool little mod for COD 4 . I know that some of you enjoy Pezbots mods so here is one called Combined Operations which mixes up a few weapons from MW2/MW3/BO/BO2/Ghosts and has the MOAB streak in it too. The sounds are from Ghosts and even though its has a bug or two , it's a very cool and fun mod. It also has waypoints to some maps from the above mentioned COD titles ( you'll have to download the maps for yourselves though ). Just read the included text file and enjoy! =)

I downloaded N0Steam version over torrent,and update 3 and it works just great :) But there's no ranking,player tag or barracks at all with bots in local play.

no worries i did the steps as you told but still didn't work but when I disable DEP to the launcher (SP only) it worked wonders thanks bro......now playing the 80s levels with 2025 weapons haha

hey try the following:
Delete1. turn off any background programs such as anti-virus, steam, etc.
2. turn off windows firewall
3. try turning off/reseting your internet. internet is not required to play and sometimes certain internet configurations can interfere with the game.
4. run program as administrator.

I've known that you need hex editor to change bot names in "steam_whatever.dll"(IDK the exact name) but it's more user friendly (for the high-level people) if I use .net reflector....it's fast and has a decompiler instead of making T&As from hex values....which means I can now play against a bot with the name "zeldaxlove64" haha
